Information on the purpose of processing and retention period of personal data
Jobmakler s.r.o. processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (GDPR).
Your personal data is processed by Jobmakler s.r.o., which determines the purposes and means of data processing and is responsible for their proper handling as the personal data controller.
Purposes of Personal Data Processing
- Registration of job applicants through a form or personal interview – based on your consent to the processing of personal data (retention period: 10 years, consent may be withdrawn at any time).
- Provision of personal data to potential employers for the purpose of job placement – based on your consent.
- Conclusion of an employment or framework contract – processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party.
- Assistance with obtaining a work or residence permit – based on your consent.
- Processing of contact details via a web form or other means (telephone, email) – based on the legitimate interest of the company to assist clients and handle their requests.
- Newsletter – sending current job offers and related information by email – based on your consent (retention period: 10 years, with the right to withdraw consent at any time).
Categories of Personal Data Processed
Depending on the purpose of processing, the following data may be processed:
- Identification data: title, first name, surname, date of birth, gender, nationality, citizenship.
- Contact data: permanent or temporary address, phone number, email.
- Additional information: photograph, education, work experience, details from certificates, confirmations, and attestations.
- Other data: bank account details, marital status, emergency contact person.
- Document numbers: ID card, passport, visa, work permit, and any other voluntarily provided information.
Retention Period of Personal Data
- Data processed on the basis of consent are retained for 10 years or until consent is withdrawn. Before the period expires, the data subject will be contacted to renew or terminate consent.
- Data processed based on legal obligations (e.g., accounting and tax purposes) are retained for the period specified by applicable legislation.
- Data from contact forms are deleted immediately after the request has been processed unless a contractual relationship is established.
- Incidentally obtained personal data are not further processed and are securely destroyed without delay.
Rights of the Data Subject
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Request access to your personal data and obtain a copy of them.
- Request correction or completion of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of personal data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Request restriction of data processing.
- Request data portability in a structured, commonly used format.
- Object to processing, particularly in cases of direct marketing.
- File a complaint with the supervisory authority – Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic.

- The processing of personal data does not include profiling or cross-border transfer.
- Providing personal data is voluntary but necessary to facilitate job placement.
- You may withdraw your consent at any time, in writing or electronically, by sending a notice to Jobmakler s.r.o.
- Personal data are not provided to unauthorized third parties or disclosed publicly.
